Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted nothing new recently. Reason being is because I have been trying this beauty...No.7 Beautifully matte foundation. Hope you enjoy! X
So this is the No.7 Beautifully Matte foundation. This claims to be for normal/oily skin and has a medium/full coverage. This includes a spf of 15 and states to last up to 14 hours shine free giving a soft, even finish. The box says that the recommended way of applying this foundation is by shaking the foundation before use, blending the foundation out with fingers or a sponge working downwards from the centre of the face. NOTE this foundation is also hypo-allergenic which is great for sensitive skin. Retails at £13.99. I have the shade Cool Vanilla
Good points
This is my first no.7 foundation that I have tried. Because I have oily skin a lot of people have recommended this foundation to me as the longevity is good and because it's also matte. Straight away we can see this has a pump which is more convenient and easy to dispense product. This will make it more hygienic also. The bottle itself is very petite and
cute. It has a nice frosted look to it which goes well with the black writing and bottle pump and lid. First of all lets talk about the formula. This is such a great lightweight formula, without a smell. Because of how lightweight the formula is, this makes it easier to blend across the skin for a even smooth looking finish. What I love about the formulation of this product is that even though it's matte, it actually has a moisturising property to it which keeps the access oil balanced across the skin to make sure it has a natural look all day. The formula is so good at covering opened pores making them less visible. One of the best things about the formula though in my opinion is that it contains an ingredient called Salicylic acid. If you do not know what this is, it's an ingredient which helps fight against bacteria which causes spots so is good for acne prone skin and like I mentioned before it's also hyper-allergenic which is good for those with sensitive skin. Also this foundation does have an spf of 15 which is going to help protect the skin. I do find that the best way to apply this foundation is by using either a flat foundation brush or a damp beauty blender. I will normally use a beauty blender myself as it gives me a beautiful matte even smooth finish. This is such a natural looking foundation to the skin. It does really look like skin when it's on. This does claim to last up to 14 hours but I do not have makeup on for 14 hours in a day anways BUT the longest I've gone before touch up is 6-7 hours which for me is so amazing! Because I have oily skin I find I have to touch up more than regular people which is annoying but with this foundation I really do not need to at all. I also set this with a matte powder and used a matte primer as a base with a setting spray and it does not move! I can ensure your makeup will look the same as it did to when you first applied this. This foundation states that it is a medium to full coverage foundation and I agree. I find I can use a pump on each check, half a pump on the forehead and use any left over on the brush or sponge to the nose, chin and above the lips. A little bit of the product does go along way. It is buildable coverage over acne or acne scaring or anywhere you feel you need a little more coverage.

Overall
Overall this is such an amazing foundation. Those who have oily skin will LOVE this I promise! Take it from someone who has the worlds oiliest skin who hasn't foundation a foundation with a staying power like this yet! It's so lightweight to the skin, so smooth and easy to apply and is just an all round foundation. I will repurchase this foundation for a long time coming and if they discontinue this at all I will be buying every one of these I can get my hands on I STG! I am not sure if they sell No.7 products like this outside of the UK in places such as the states but if you can get your hands on it... please do!
