2in1 review - Current most used shower items

Hi everyone!
I wanted to share with you my current most used shower/bath items today. I feel like this will be very informative for everyone to see why these are my current most used and why they might benefit you. As hinted in the title, there are 2 products in which I will be talking about. Even though these are my current most used items, I still will be doing pro's and con's towards these despite how much I like these. Enjoy! X

Review 1:
L'oreal Elvive colour protect caring shampoo
To start off with let me give you a little run down as to why I brought this and what its properties are. So if you have read my previous blog post you will know that I have my hair dyed. Because off this I try and use as many colour protecting products as possible to help prolong the colour and to keep it healthy. This products claims to maintain colour intensity, protects the hair, maintain 80% of colour after 28 washes and prolongs colour radiance and if this isn't obvious already, this shampoo is aimed at those with coloured hair.

Pro's
I must say, I do like l'oreal shampoo's. They all have a really silky feel and a refreshing smell to them. This must be my third time repurchasing this shampoo so far. First thing that I love about this shampoo is that it keeps the colour of my hair shiny after  being coloured and a few weeks after. It does keep the colour radiant through the body of the hair. Obviously this will not work at the roots as that is where your hair naturally grows anyways. It leaves my hair feeling silky, smooth and looking radiant that this is why I keep using this shampoo. I haven't found a better shampoo like this yet. BUT if l'oreal have more colour protecting shampoo's let me know as I would love to try out more. I am all for shampoo's protecting my hair against heat and split ends and although this shampoo does not claim to have these properties, everytime I use this I feel like this does a good job of doing so when compared to using other shampoo's on the market. A little bit does go along way with this as it foams up really well, creating a lather in the hair to easily distribute throughout the hair itself. If you do have coloured hair like myself and are wanting to try a really affective shampoo then try this one!

Con's
Now, I may love using this shampoo but I have a really dry scalp. This shampoo does dry out my scalp after a few washes so I have to use another shampoo for the next two washes I'd say to prevent a flaky scalp. So this shampoo is quite drying to the scalp if you have dryish hair. I find that using conditioner does help the body of the hair if your hair is naturally quite dry but other than that it will not protect the scalp.

Overall
I am going to carry on repurchasing this shampoo whether it dries out my scalp or not! I love the formula, I love the smell and I love how it does what it claims to do so for me this is a win win product despite it's drying properties to the scalp.

Product 2:
Lush's shower jelly - Santa belly
Now I know this is a seasonal product from lush but I'm here to talk about the overall concept of their shower jellies rather than just this one. This is the first shower jelly I have ever tried from lush and I was very excited to try this out. As I am a MASSIVE lush fan and have tried majority of their bath bombs, shower products etc, it kind of excited me to realise that I had not yet tried their shower jelly's.

Pro's
Guys... I love this so much!! Lush' shower jelly's are so amazing! They are super fun to use in the shower and are super soapy when made into a lather. I have had mine since November of 2015 and I have just over half left and use this basically everytime I shower. This shows that this is a long lasting product and for a little price of just over £3, this will save you money keep on buying shower gels or creams so it's totally worth investing. The smell of the shower jelly's are incredible. They are so fresh and revitalising that It just makes you even more happy to use them. As lush are a cruelty free company and only using natural ingredients, you are guaranteed to have natural, fresh looking and smelling skin after use. I would love to try other shower jelly's from lush so if you have tried others, please don't be shy to recommend the next one that I repurchase...which will be soon! How could you not want to have a jelly in the shower?

Con's (Just a pet hate)
I know this is the whole point of it being a 'jelly' but I am forever dropping this because of how slippy it becomes once wet. This does damage to the jelly (as expected) which kind of chips away the product making it seem smaller and not as smooth to use.

Overall
Like I said, I love these products so much because they are so fun, making shower or bath times more enjoyable! I am going to try more shower jelly's and I think you should too!
