Hi everyone!
I thought i'd do something slightly different today and show and explain my current hair favourites with you! I feel that hair care is just as important as skin care and it does not get addressed enough. As I have my hair dyed professionally, I have to make sure my hair does not become dry and ruined. Hope you enjoy!
So above is my top 5 current hair care favourites. These products are all suitable for you no matter what your hair type is. All these products are non drying to the scalp so can be used even with a flaky scalp. For me these products do the job and treat my hair the way I want it to. Because I have my hair dyed and I use heat on my hair regularly, it's vital that I keep it looking healthy and protect it from heat and split ends. I have very thick hair also. The products are :
Aussie dual personality anti frizz + conditioning milk
Toni&guy prep heat protection mist
Mess head love it sleek 3 day smoothing spray
Got2be powderful volumizing styling powder
Toni&guy glamour moisturising shine spray
Aussi dual personality anti frizz + conditioning milk - So this product by aussi is a conditioning milk which helps aid hair by conditioning after washing the hair. This is a product where you use after you have come out of a bath or a shower as you leave this product in your hair. This claims to help bring 'flyaways' back into line without getting heavy. It says to apply this to either wet or dry hair whilst dispensing about half a pump or more depending on how long your hair is. It recommends you to start at the tips of the hair whilst working your way up then combing it through to evenly distribute the product. In my opinion this is such a good nourishing product for my hair. I use this twice a week as I feel that leaving conditioner in my hair really benefits it. It conditions my split ends and make sure my hair does not look week. The smell is just like any other conditioner but creamier. This formula is so easy to deposit through the hair as it's so lightweight and easy to work with. I use this over an average conditioner as I find this works better. Aussi is a well known professional brand which also does shampoos and conditioners but I haven't tried those as of yet. Because of it's anti frizz properties, this also helps to keep my hair straight during the more wetter and damper days. This conditioning milk also leaves a nice luminosity once dried which is what I like because it gives the affect of that your hair is healthy even if troubled. With 150ml of product, you will enjoy using this for ages. If you are interested in trying this, this retails for £4.99, totally worth it!
Toni&guy prep heat protection mist - As hinted in the title of this product this is a heat protection mist. If this isn't obvious enough, heat protection mists are there to help protect you hair against the harsh heat so it's becomes less damaged. This also claims that it has anti static controlling properties which is always a bonus. It is recommended to use this product before heat styling, spray over dampened hair and comb through whilst topping up between blow dry and straightening. For me, I find it very hard to tell between heat protection mists to tell if they work or not because they all do the same. However, once tried this one by toni&guy I imminently noticed a difference between any other heat protectant that i've recently tried beforehand. Because I straighten my hair everyday, It's vital that I use heat protect on it so my hair does not become damaged. So...this products does not make my tips crisp up when heat is applied, it makes the straightener glide through my hair effortlessly because of how smooth it makes it and also has a nice spray bottle to evenly deposit the product lightly and not heavy onto the hair. If you have tried toni&guy products before you will know how distinctive the smell is. It's an unexplainable smell which may or may not appeal to people, but I like it very much. This retails at around £6-£7 depending on where you find this.
Mess head, love it sleek 3 day smoothing spray - Now this product is a smoothing spray. I like to use this on my hair because I like my hair to look fresh and feel smooth as it is very thick. So this claims to help transform your hair into a straight, smooth and shiny style that lasts up to three days. This also says it has heat protection properties in this to leave your hair feeling protected and smooth for heat appliances. I like to use this on the days where I don't use my aussi conditioner so it still keeps my hair smooth and silky throughout the week. With this also having heat protecting properties in this, it also gives me hair extra protection. This spray has a very sweet, soapy smell to this but it's actually quite refreshing. This keeps my hair smooth and keeps it easy to straighten without tugging. This is a very inexpensive product at only £1.50
got2b powderful volumizing styling powder - This is a powder formulated product which aids at volumising the roots to make the hair seem more full. This claims to texturise the hair to give maximum volume at the roots, in an instant! I agree 100% with this. This is such an easy to use product to instantly add volume. You can easily apply this on the go also if it's loosing it's volume. With the other products I use also making my hair look silky smooth and quite volumous already, I only use this when I am going out on a night out or somewhere fancy like a meal etc just to add volume because it is normally at the end of the day in which I go out to those events. This is a really good affordable price at £3.00
Toni&guy glamour moisturising shine spray - As you've probably guessed this is a spray which adds shine to the hair. This claims to give long lasting smoothness whilst giving you the ultimate long lasting shine to the hair. The recommended use is to apply the product the same as the other toni&guy product I mentioned above. I really like to use this when my hair is starting to look dull and needs to be revitalised with shine to make it look and feel more alive. Because the other hair care products I use also have shine properties to them, I only use this product when those other products have worn off as this is quite intense. If you have really dull hair I would 100% recommend this as it will do wonders to brighten up you hair making it feel silky smooth ready for whatever. This retails at £7.50
