Face makeup from today...

An everyday, natural makeup look!

So today I thought i'd post about something different from normal. I thought I'd share with you what I wore on my face today. I wear this makeup combo quite often, maybe switching up the mascara and bronzer every now and then. 

What was on my face:

• Rimmels match perfection foundation
• Mac's prolong wear concealer
• One heck of a blot powder by soap and glory
• Mac's eyebrow gel fluidline
• Elf baked bronzer
• Benefit's They're Real! Mascara

Break down of products

Makeup Forever step 1 matte face primer - I used this today because I used a non oil free foundation so needed to keep my face feeling matte for the day. I also wanted my foundation to hold better because of there being a matte base underneath. 

Rimmels match perfection foundation - I have this in the shade 103 true ivory. I used this foundation as I was only visiting a family relatives house and it provides a light/medium coverage for those days where you want a light makeup look. Although this isn't targeted at oily skin people, like me, I still like to use this foundation for a few hours as it makes my skin look flawless when I have no acne at that current time. 

Mac's prolong wear concealer - I used this concealer today to give my under eye area more coverage and also to highlight the area to make my eyes appear more awake. As I have quite severe dark under eyes, I used this to cover up the darkness more as the foundation used is only a light coverage in my opinion. 

One heck of a blot powder by soap and glory - If you have read my blog post then you will know I like using this powder as it mattes my face down. As I'm not using an oil free foundation, I tried using as many matte based products in which I own such as the primer and this powder. This just makes the foundation last a bit longer from the oil production in which my skin produces. 

Mac's eyebrow gel fluidline - I used this on my brows today as I haven't used this in a while. I normally use the anastasia brow wiz but because the tint from my eyebrows is wearing off, I like to use a more intense colour so I can define the shape of my eyebrows more, making sure I don't overdo the product and the brow. I also find this product very easy to work with and it also saves me time whilst doing my brows. 

Elf's baked bronzer -  This is one of few products I like from elf. I used this bronzer today as it gives me a subtle, nice tanned look to the face. It's easy to blend out and I was in a rush this morning so needed something nice and quick to use. For the price of this product i'd definately recommend buying this as it's so good and natural.

Benefit's They're Real! Mascara -  If you've read my blog post on this product, you will know that I find this mascara very easy to use. It's so easy to apply mascara to your lashes, saving you time in a morning trying to get them looking good. As I said above, I was in a rush this morning when doing my makeup so this was the best option for me. It provided me with just enough product to last me 3-4 hours. 

Recommendations

If you wanted to use these products to recreate a nice, simple, lightweight makeup look, you could also throw in a pop of colour to the eye lids like the maybelline's colour tattoo colour in on and on bronze to give the look more drama for a night time look or a more sultry eye look for the day. You could even add in a blush which is similar to your natural cheek blush shade and a nice highlight which looks natural and not too overwhelming. The brand Sleek do nice natural highlight shades which are perfect for this look
