This is a new(ish) foundation by Bourjois from the UK. This air mat foundation states that it has a 24 hour hold and an undetectable matte finish. This range has currently 5 shades, retailing at £9.99. For anyone's curiosity, I purchased this from boots. If you are not from the UK, boots is a drugstore which sells makeup, toiletries, medical requirements etc. Basically all the essentials in which you'll need!

Reason I purchased

I thought Id buy this foundation as many people have told me that bourjois foundations are good. Because I have oily skin, I thought buying this new matte foundation would be a good idea considering people have said hat bourjois foundations are good. As it stated it has undetectable matte finish, this intrigued me as I hate a cakey, matte finish from a matte foundation from any line. 

Before I get into my thoughts and feelings about this foundation I am going to say that I found more negative points than positive and you will see shortly why.

Good points

First, I'd like to say that I do like how the bottle has a squeezable applicator. I find this to be product controlling and more hygienic. This is a perfect sized tubed foundation for travelling also. This foundation is VERY matte. This is not a foundation for dry skin that's for sure. However if you do have dry skin and want to try and bourjois foundation I would recommend this 'healthy mix' foundation. As this is a very matte foundation in my opinion this will be good for those who are oily, like myself. This foundation does not highlight fine lines on the face which is a plus.

Bad points

I hate to put a downer on things but I really did not like this product. The shade range is absolutely awful! With there only being 5 shades, there is not enough choice in my opinion to detect a natural shade for you skin tone. This foundation is SO yellow also. If you have a very yellow complexion, you may find this foundation a good match to your skin. However my skin has not got a lot of yellow undertones at all so this foundation made me appear very yellow. Even though this foundation is super matte, it is not '24 hour' wearing at all. After around 4 hours, my face was an oil bath even with a setting spray and a matte primer applied. For the price of £9.99 this product is so not worth its money. If you have super oily skin like me, this may seem appealing to you but please stay away unless you have the worlds most yellowist complextion! In my opinion, if you have a really yellow complexion and have a normal skin type this foundation would be ideal for you. Also, I find that blending anything on the face so concealer, bronzer, highlight, blush etc is super hard to do. Because this foundation dries instantly, I find that it's hard to do anything else with the face because of how matte it dries down. No matter how much or how little you apply to your applicator of choice, your face will still look so heavy in makeup with this foundation. This is total full coverage x10 and beyond which is not a good look even for those who love a full on full coverage foundation. This is just way too much! I find the only way to make this look even on the face is by using a beauty blender. By using a foundation brush the bristles will become so clogged from the product due to how heavy it is. This is one of my pet hates. This product has a very strong chemical smell. It is a very strong, distinctive smell which isn't very pleasant when you can smell the product whilst on the face. For me, this makes me feel very uncomfortable with the foundation as It worries me that I might break out in spots by using this.

Overall

As you may have guessed I did not like this foundation. I wanted to do a review on something in which I did not find great so I can show you guys that I don't favour everything I own. I have used this foundation a handlful of times, trying to make it work through mixing it with other foundation but that did not work either. 3/10 for this product.
