Too faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
This is the Too Faced milk chocolate soleil bronzer. This is the lightest bronzer in their collection. This bronzer is aimed at those with a fair complexion. Bronzes work at adding warmth to the face. This retails at £25. A more expensive bronzer to try but is it worth it?
Reason I brought this
First of all I wanted a new bronzer. The one I was using all the time before I purchased this was a bit too dark for my complexion and made my face look muddy. I saw this recently going past my local too faced counter and thought I'd check this out. Some may say i'm mad paying £25 for a bronzer without reading reviews first but the lady at the counter guaranteed me a flawless look and blend with this especially with my complexion! So that's why I gave in and paid the steep price of £25. Also this was my first purchase from too faced and I have been wanting to try their products for a long time.
Good points
Inside the product |
I'm starting with the fact that this smells beautifully like chocolate #winning. Majority of Too Faced products have a chocolate scent such as their chocolate bar pallets which to me, adds major brownie points when rating this product. If you don't like the smell of chocolate...wups. Anyways on to the product itself. I really like this bronzer. The way this blends on the face is seamless. It adds a subtle warmth leaving my face looking more alive. The product itself feels like a creamy pressed bronzer? If that makes sense. This is why I think its such a blendable product, not making the face look over done. The product is not harsh is anyway shape or form. If you apply too much to the face, the product will easily blend out to fix the mistake. This bronzer is not chalky either and by that I mean powdery. Some bronzers in which I have tried are quite loose (pressed powders not loose) in which I find I get dustings of the product on my face when applying, making my face look a mess. For reference, I am using a real techniques bold metal 103 angled powder brush. I love the packaging of this so much! I think the gold makes the product look more glam and sets the products off nicely. The detailing also adds to this. A mix point here. I love how the product is circular so you can get a nice, even distribution on the brush however for travelling, this may be a pain fitting in a makeup bag depending on how big yours is. I know I struggle fitting it in mine. The compact mirror which comes with this is such a lovely size in my opinion. It's big enough to see the entire cheek area easily when applying.

Bad points
Like I started to say above, this packaging is a little on the larger size. For me, this takes up room when I'm travelling places with my 'go to' makeup products. I mean, it isn't something I hate but I would prefer their packaging to be a tad smaller. Also, I do love this bronzer very much but I do think £25 for a bronzer is very pricey. When I hit pan on this, I think I may cry, no joke. The price does actually put me off repurchasing this again however that being said, there is a heck of a lot of product that comes with this. I would say, if you are using a more dense brush to apply this, I would be very light handed and careful when applying to the face because sometimes a more dense brush can leave this product going on harsh to the face. I have done this a few times because of how pigmented this bronzer is and you do not want to waste the product, especially for the price.
Overall
I love this product!!! I would definately recommend this bronzer for anyone looking for a high end bronzer with fair skin. It's such a natural, light shade that it looks beautiful whatever the season or event. Yes it's expensive but it is worth it. I use this bronzer near enough every time I do my makeup because I can't seem to find another the beats it at the moment. If you have tried any bronzers which are good for fair skin, let me know!
Thanks for reading and don't forgot to show your support it would mean a lot ! X
