Maybelline's 24hr colour tattoo's

 Will your's stay 24hr?

These are Maybelline's 24hr colour tattoo's. This product is a cream eyeshadow, ranging in different finishes. Here, I have currently got 4 shades, 2 of them being leather effects. The shades I have (from left to right) are creamy beige, everlasting navy, vintage plum and on and on bronze. These consist of a creamy formula, retailing at £4.99 from the drugstore.

Reason for purchasing
I wanted to try out cream eyeshadows soo why not try the cheaper option first? I got a range of neutrals and bold colours to test pigmentation, longevity between the two.

Good points
These eyeshadows are a lot creamier than I expected. They feel hydrating and lightweight on the lid. I really love the packaging of these. I think the circular round pots give it a cute look, this is what made me want to buy this item more. I haven't tried a product like these from maybelline before and I was certainly impressed, not the best cream eyeshadows but they are certainly not bad. I used my fingers as an applicator for these. I found this made it so much easier to build the colour on the lid which is another good point. These cream eyeshadows are so easy to build with pigment. If you feel like the colour you've applied to the lid isn't enough, it's so easy to build the colour up to what you'd like. For £4.99, maybelline haven't done a bad job. Let's talk about the shade on and on bronze. This is the only shade I have that's shimmer. This is my favourite shade by far! The pigmentation on the cream eyeshadow is amazing!!! If you want a subtle, elegant, classy eyeshadow look then this is the cream eyeshadow for you.

Bad points
Every good product must have its downsides. Firstly being how hard these are to blend. Even though these eyeshadows are really creamy, once applied to the lid, you could almost say it dries and sticks to the lid instantly making it so hard to blend (surprisingly this doesn't make the lid feel heavy.) The leather effect shadows in this collection have more of a matte texture. These are the ones which are extremely hard to blend out. If you are using this product, be careful on how much colour you apply. Also, even with a primer base I find that these will crease because of them being cream products. Maximum wear time for me would be around 2 hours because of my oily eye lids. The wear time might be longer for those who have more normal or dry skin. After not using them for a while, I do find that the product does dry up. This makes the next application of the product quite tricky because of how they've not been used in a while. My recommendation to Maybelline would be make the eyeshadows easier to blend.

On and on bronze
On and on bronze is a beautiful shade. It's a shimmer copper shade which makes your eyes pop! Suitable for an everyday look or a formal evening
Vintage plum
Vintage plum is a muted purple shade. This is one of the leather effect shades of the collection. Great for a deeper look on the eyes.
Everlasting navy

Everlasting navy is a deep blue shade. The colour for this will need building to achieve a more deeper colour. Great for more adventurous looks.
Creamy beige
Creamy beige is a lovely semi matte neutral brown shade in the leather effect collection. This is great as an everyday shade, great as a transition colour.

Overall
Overall I think this product is a 7/10. Some colours work and some colours are not as great. The more neutral colours sit on the eyes better and look better with flash backs. The bold colours aren't that pigmented which is disappointing as they are beautiful shades. Would repurchase on and on bronze and creamy beige.
