Current skin care routine

Hi everyone!
This is going to be my first skin care blog post so why not start with my current skin care routine right? Also this will be my last post of the week as I am in London all weekend. All of these products all contain drugstore items as I have young skin so I feel as if I do not need to adventure into more expensive skin treatment as of yet, enjoy!
Above is my current skin care routine in order of products I use. I try to get products to suit acne prone skin, just to let you know for reference. Here are a list of the products:
- My spa facial cleansing brush
-The body shop's tea tree foaming cleanser
-Neutrogena 2 in 1 wash and mask
- Clean&clear blackhead clearing water
-Dermologica eye care cream
-Dermologica facial toner spray

Night time routine
First step:
The first step in my routine is to splash my face with cold water to dampen the skin. Once done this I will take my facial cleansing brush, wet it with cold water and apply the body shop's tea tree foaming cleanser to the brush. Once applied I will turn the cleansing brush on and start to cleanse my face in circular motions on each area of the face. This will get rid of any makeup left over on the skin if applied that day. I like to do this step before any other because I find this takes away those deep down impurities and any dirt in pores to get ready for other applications of products. The foaming cleanser is very gentle to the skin, perfect for those who have sensitive skin. Products with tea tree elements in them are good for acne prone skin as they help aid the sensitivity of the area, making it less likely for it to break out into a horrid yellow head yuk!

Second step:
So after I've rinsed the foaming cleaners of my face, I will then dampen my face with a towel and then apply my Neutrogena 2 in 1 wash and mask. I will use the mask part of the product by applying this to my t zone areas only as I get most oily there. This will unclog my pores, helping to prevent blackheads and spots around those areas. After about 5-10 minutes the product will be fully dry for you to wash off. This product leaves the skin feeling so fresh. You can apply the mask part of this product to the whole face but because I cleansed the face beforehand, I just prefer to only apply this to the t zone areas as the mask claims to help unclog deep pores and to not dry it out.

Third step:
Yet again, after rinsing the face mask off I will then go ahead and use my clean&clear blackhead clearing water. I will apply a small amount to a cotton pad and apply to the areas where I find I have more severe blackheads. For me these areas are around the nose, on the nose and around the chin area. I use this because I love clean&clear products for my skin. I don't find them harsh when using them and I've always got on with their products. I use this everyday, morning and night. For morning use, I will apply this after I have washed my face with the wash part of my Neutrogena 2 in 1.

Fourth step:
You may or may not have heard these products but Dermologica is a dermal brand which deals with every aspect of the face. They provide products to suit your skin type. They do everything with oily, dry, normal and ageing skin. These products are more harsh on the skin because they are a more expensive, well working skin care brand. Drugstore skin care items are made to freshen and revitalise the skin whilst doing what it says to an extent. Dermologica products will only do what they say and they will do it well. After using my clean&clear blackhead water I will use my Dermologica eye care cream and apply this to the under eye area where I find my dark circles are quite bad at the moment. This product does wonders to my under eye area! I will wake up the morning after, no matter how much sleep I got that night and my under eye area will not appear puffy and look colour corrected. I apply this product every night as this is a daily use product. The formula of this is super creamy and comes out of the tube with a skin colour tone but blends out to the colour of you skin.

Final step:
Whilst talking about Dermologica products my final step includes using their toner facial spray. I use this overall just to make sure that my face doesn't dry out from using all the products. This makes my face feel hydrated and clean. This does have a small floral scent to this but the scent does not last long on the face. I would recommend Dermologica to anyone who suffers severely with their skin whether that be with you skin type i.e oily, normal etc or if you have severe acne or scaring. This will attack the problem areas so well, well worth the money.

Morning routine

First step:
So my morning routine really isn't much. I only have 2 steps first thing in a morning. The first thing I do will splash my face will cold water to make my skin damp. Then I will apply the wash side of my Neutrogena 2 in 1. Once applied to product to the dampened skin, it will create a wash like formula which helps freshen the face and get it prepared for the day. As I use medical spot ointment on my face at night, doctors advice me to wash my face in a morning so I find using this is the best way to wash the face as it's lightweight and gentle to the skin

Final step:
Like I mentioned before I use my clean&clear blackhead cleansing water in the morning as well as at night. I use this after my wash because I like using this twice in one day just to maximise and speed up results. It is recommended that you do this on the bottle as well.

I hope you found this enjoyable and useful and hopefully let me know on some of you skin care favourites! As always I ask you to please show some support and follow my social media links and bloglovin account! Dont be afraid to leave a comment as I will 100% reply asap! Thanks X
